No problem! To make preparation quick, it's easiest to always have a concentrate on hand.
Just mix the syrup with cold water, add a few ice cubes (mint leaves, etc.), and your homemade refreshing drink is ready!
For approx. 1 liter of syrup you need:
- 1 liter of water
- 100 g loose tea
- 600 g sugar
- Lemon juice approx. (30g)
Here's how to do it:
- First, boil 1 liter of water and let the tea (loose in a pot) steep for about 1-2 hours.
- Now strain the tea through a sieve into a saucepan.
- Add the sugar and lemon juice.
- Now bring everything to a boil briefly and then let it simmer for a few minutes over reduced heat, about 15 minutes.
- Pour the hot syrup into bottles and seal them. Done!
